John P. Broach, MD

Dr. John Broach is the Director of the Division of Emergency Medical Services at UMass Memorial Health Center. He went to medical school at Northwestern University’s School of Medicine where he also received a Master’s in Public Health. He completed both his residency and fellowship here at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Broach served as Medical Director of the UMass Memorial Medical Center Field Hospital and managed vaccine and testing programs.
His favorite thing to do is spending time outdoors and exploring New England with his wife, daughter, and dog.
