Dr. Christine Bielick specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. After receiving her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, she completed both a residency and fellowship here at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
Dr. Bielick wears many hats at UMassMemorial – she is the Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, the Medical Director of Respiratory Care for the health system, and recently began work refining the hospital response as the Medical Director of Resuscitation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she launched a program utilizing positive pressure helmets on patients with COVID-related respiratory failure and created hospital wide guidelines for the utilization of safe and effective respiratory therapies.
Somehow, she manages to do all of that, and share her experiences in videos on this website! In her free time, Dr. Bielick loves hiking and gardening with her 4 children and husband.
